Dubai specifics

Getting root canal in Dubai

If your plan has a dental benefit, root canals are often covered as basic restorative care with a co-payment. The crown afterwards may be covered at a different rate, so check both.

The Red and Green metro lines reach many clinic clusters. At peak hours Sheikh Zayed Road traffic can add 30 minutes or more, so a clinic near home or work is often the practical choice for treatments needing several visits.

Insurance

Will insurance pay in Dubai?

Restorative work such as fillings, root canals and crowns is commonly part of a dental benefit, with a co-payment and an annual limit. Crowns are sometimes covered at a lower rate. Dubai's mandatory basic plans generally exclude routine dental care, so cover depends on your employer's plan.

This is general guidance. Your policy wording and your insurer's pre-approval decide what is paid.
