Dr Vishnu kumar ENT specialist is a caring and skilled surgeon. He treated me well and gave me a through explanation regarding my condition. Dr Vishnu and his entire department is highly efficient in their work. I definitely recommend for them in aster clinic bur dubai.
Currently visited Doctor Vishnu ENT specialist at Aster jubliee Clinic at Bur dubai for my Ear Tinnitus issue. I found Doctor very calm in listening the issue what i was facing which is vey important and very prompt in tackling my diagnosis. Being an expertise in his field he did an investigation before any prescription and proposed audiologist session and medicine which currently i am in. Very professional and compassionate in handling his patients. Also the audiologist department team were very professional in providing the session.
I was driving my ill brother to the clinic to see the GP at 7:55 pm today. The clinic timings are 8 am to 11 pm. Decided to be proactive and book appointment via Aster Call Centre while on the way. The call centre agent said we have 4 GPs in the clinic, let me check which one is available. I thought that's great. Then he checks and says that all GPs have left for the day 😀 The busiest clinic in the area sends it's GPs home on a Sunday before 8 pm, while the clinic is open till 11 pm! Luckily, I had Plan B and took my brother to Vida Clinic - no waiting, immediate registration and he walked in to see the GP without delay. Aster has significant operational review long overdue.
The overall service and facilities are good. However, there are a few important areas that need attention. Firstly, the air fresheners used in the facility are extremely strong, making it uncomfortable to sit and wait. Such strong fragrances can be overwhelming for many patients, especially those sensitive to odors. Additionally, artificial air fresheners are known endocrine disruptors, and not all patients can tolerate them. A milder or fragrance-free alternative would be more considerate of patient well-being. Secondly, while it is appreciated that water filters are available, the plastic cups provided appear to be of low quality. Drinking hot water from such plastic cups raises health concerns. Kindly consider safer alternatives such as paper cups or heat-safe, BPA-free options. Lastly, appointment scheduling for physiotherapy or MRI takes an excessively long time. Even after approvals are completed, patients are required to follow up multiple times to secure an appointment.
On 30th October I had appointment with Aster Jubilee clinic in Bur Dubai but I couldn't make it and rescheduled my appointment for the next day, which will be 31th October. Receptionist said doctor not available on Friday (her day off) and she suggested to book for November 1th, Saturday. Also confirmed October offer still will be available for few days more, so no need worry. But when I step in to the clinic on 1st November, they said offer already prev. night ended. Then supervisor took my contact details and promised he will try his best to accommodate me and will call me same day, but he couldn't. If they should be informative about their system/offer or be honest with me I should book my appointment in another clinic and not lost the chance which I am waiting for a year for this kind of offer. Aster group a big chain and some unorganised employees ruinining clinic reputation.
